The Desimone Levee on the Green River has failed. The Orillia area of Tukwila, Renton, and Kent are under a GO NOW evacuation notice due to flash flooding. Leave immediately if you are in this area. The hospital is above the flood zone and currently in no danger of flooding. We are evacuating our Time Square and Kent Station Clinics as well as our Lind Avenue locations. Impacted patients will be contacted to reschedule appointments. Please be safe, do not drive or walk through standing water, and call 9-1-1 if you need emergency evacuation assistance.

Staffed by physicians and ARNPs who are wound care specialists, the Wound Care Clinic at Valley provides individualized evaluations and plan of care for patients with wounds that are not healing. When wounds fail to heal, the cause varies: venous insufficiency, arterial insufficiency or continued pressure are often the culprits. After meeting with a patient for a comprehensive assessment, our specialists create an individualized plan of care. Our vigilant treatment planning includes therapeutic procedures, dressings and surgical interventions to provide optimum healing.

Patients and their caregivers are also provided with education and instructions enhancing healing through self-care. Treatment visits are based upon the goals and plan of care and are usually weekly, but can be more frequent. If you feel you could benefit from a wound care consultation or assessment, we are here for you.
