On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.

We recognize exceptional staff through a variety of programs created to both formally and informally thank them. Driven by patient and peer input, we honor team members who have gone the extra mile through the We Are Valley (WAV) Quarterly Awards, BEE Award, DAISY Award and Thank a Caregiver program.
Ways to recognize a team member at Valley that made a difference to you:
- Any Valley team or team member: Send a note of gratitude.
- Provider (physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant): Send a note of gratitude.
- Nurse: nominate them for a DAISY Award.
- Nurse leader: nominate them for a DAISY Leader Award.
- Non-nursing staff member: nominate them for a BEE Award.
- Send a gift to a staff member through our Online Gift Shop.
- Share thanks with a current or former staff member.
- Make a donation to Valley in honor of an individual that has passed away through the Tribute Program.
