Windstorm Update:
Valley Medical Center’s student program partners with technical schools, 2-year colleges, and universities to provide a meaningful education experience and establish a recruiting network for the organization. The program also strives to support departments throughout the VMC network in order to place students in coordinated standardized fashion that meets the needs of the student, the department, and the organization.
Valley Medical Center offers a variety of student educational experiences with schools that have entered into education affiliation agreements with the organization. We will work with schools to assist the student in gaining the hands-on experience needed to complete the education curriculum, while offering an enjoyable environment in which to learn.
If you are not with a school, but are interested in observing, please reach out to Human Resources.
If you are a student, you must contact your school, college, or university’s placement coordinator if you are interested in completing an externship/internship with Valley Medical Center. If a student contacts us directly, they will be asked to contact their school’s placement coordinator.
If you are the placement coordinator for an academic institution, you must submit a Student Placement Request to the appropriate individual. Please note: we will not continue with the onboarding process until the student placement request has been submitted and approved by our team.
Verify with your contact if you have an established, updated Education Affiliation Agreement with Valley Medical Center. If you do not have an Educational Affiliation Agreement with Valley Medical Center, please complete the appropriate form (without signatures) for preliminary review by your contact. If you would like to make red-line edits for consideration, please save the attached PDFs as Word documents and create “track changes” to submit for review by your contact.

ARNP and PA-C Preceptorships Student Placement Request: It is the student’s responsibility to secure a preceptor through our organization.
